Sean M. Keel

Sean Keel is an [[American]] [[mathematician]] specializing in [[algebraic geometry]]. He is a professor at the [[University of Texas at Austin]].

He obtained a doctoral degree in 1989 from the University of Chicago under William Fulton, with a thesis titled Techniques for Calculating Chow Rings.

He was an Invited speaker at the ICM in Rio de Janeiro (2018, with Paul Hacking: Mirror symmetry and cluster algebras).
